[Board] outreach report

Good morning,

Of our current projects, the current statues are:

Press releases continue to go out for major events thanks to Ron's
diligence.

Merchandising - Debbie Luchenbill, Jennifer Weston and myself have created
a matrix that we are still adjusting to compare merchandising services.
Once it is filled out we will evaluate and make a recommendation to the
board. My hope is to have a shop running before the conference so that we
can offer t-shirts for the upcoming conference and the online ones from the
past few years.

Hack-A-Way - We are reaching out to community members with related
experience and then will begin evaluating potential platforms.  The event
dates selected by community poll are October 24th - October 26th so the
process for picking a new platform will be moving along pretty quickly over
the next month.  I will be sending out an announcement of that to the
general and dev lists shortly after submitting this.

Video Uploads of the conference have been delayed due to unforeseen
circumstances with my availability but they are still on track to be
uploaded.
