[Board] Proposal: reboot community calendar

Hi,

This is something arising out of Outreach and IG discussions that I'm
summarizing and relaying.

Currently, the Evergreen Community Calendar
<https://evergreen-ils.org/communicate/calendar/>, is implemented as a set
of Google calendars owned by various organizations. Consequently, it can be
difficult for new IG leaders and the like to figure out how to get an event
posted.

Consequently, I would like the Board's feedback on the following idea:

- Create a new, single Google calendar managed in the TEP Google Workspace
to serve as the sole community calendar
- Edit access to the calendar would be granted to IG leaders (or the
equivalent), available to Board members, and available to Evergreen systems
administration volunteers as needed to maintain the calendar
- Create and publish (on the wiki or equivalent places) documenting how to
gain access to the calendar
- Update references to the calendar on the website and other places
- Announce the new calendar

As no monetary expenditures are required and this isn't a big strategic
decision, I don't think this rises to the level of requiring a formal Board
motion unless there are objections. Consequently, this email is an FYI to
the Board and a request for any high-level feedback or objections. However,
if there is a desire NOT to do this or at least defer discussion to the
next Board meeting, please advise.

There are various people on Outreach and the IG corps ready to implement
this proposal.
