How about this?

Key outcomes from the development of the 2024-26 TEP Strategic Plan will be strategies to maintain, promote, and grow community engagement; create a sustainable funding model to support community activities; and establish administrative practices to streamline TEP governance and oversight.

OK, that's fair, but I go back to the question of what are some other tangible benefits the board hopes to see as a result of the plan? I'm assuming the Board doesn't want to create a plan for the sake of having a plan, but is looking for some tangible result coming from that process. Maybe it's more consistency in contributions, whether it comes from community contributors or project staff. What do we hope changes as a result of this retreat and planning process? I think that's what they are looking for here.

I'm not sure we can write those thing yet prior to the creation of the strategic plan. Those would be things that were highlighted as part of the fact finding and community input phase.

Hi Ruth,

Thank you so much for writing up the lion's share of the grant application!

I would like to make some suggested additions to the success measures, but I'm having a hard time thinking of what they should be. In addition to the actual strategic plan, I'm thinking the IOI would like to hear what kind of outcomes we would like to see as a result of the plan. Could we say something like: 1) A year after the adoption of the plan, the Evergreen project will have developed a funding model that brings in a minimum of 10% more in funds than the average annual revenue the project received over the past five years. 2) Two years after the adoption of the plan, the Evergreen project will be in a position to hire consultants / staff to help with project infrastructure. What are some other tangible benefits the board hopes to see as a result of the plan?

Thank you to Kathy Lussier for many, many things.

If you are interested in proofreading the things, you can link to the draft document here. Each section of the funding request includes a link to another document. Please leave comments wherever you want including changes you'd like. Please note that there is a character limit, and that accounts for a fair amount of brevity. I will be submitting the application at 2:00 p.m. ET.
