[Eg-newdevs] Follow up on call number label

PS - that should have been "we had a thinko" and not "we had a thinking"
because I've clearly used up my allotment of thinking this week.

PPS - on terran-master.gapines.org I have the CONS level set to True and
BR1 set to False for testing purposes
