<div dir="ltr"><div><br></div><div>I want to thank Ruth Frasur, Chauncey Montgomery, and Carrie Curie for helping me brainstorm a discussion about swag. I'm sending this so that folks can review it before the meeting tomorrow.</div>
<div><br></div><div>In bullet point form:</div><div><br></div><div><div>Amazon Link on Website</div><div> - not swag per se but again could generate revenue at no cost</div><div> - could feature items of interest to the community</div>
</div><div> - could be started ASAP</div><div><br></div><div>Cafe Press Store</div><div> - hats, stickers, coffee mugs, posters, tshirts, cases (smart phones, ereaders, laptop skins), bags</div><div> - all of these would be dependent upon acceptable designs</div>
<div> - these came up in discussion and / or are popular categories on cafe press</div><div> - cafe press (or zazzle) have the advantage of no investment other than time, we don't have to put cash up front, keep inventory, handle shipping, etc....</div>
<div> - there was also the idea of using some of pinesol green's stored quotes on some of the merchandise</div><div> - could take samples to conference to raise awareness and maybe even have a laptop there for placing orders</div>
<div><br></div><div>Bake Sale at Conference</div><div> - a little old school but could be effective, especially on first day of interest group meetings</div><div> - may raise awareness of need as much as funds</div><div>
- contract issues with conference venue?</div><div> - which baked goods </div><div><br></div><div>Silent Auction at Conference</div><div> - would need donations of items</div><div> - Kathy Lussier is looking at some kind of event at the Conference already like a trivia night, would we oversaturate the conference at some point?</div>
<div> - other legal issues?</div><div><br></div></div>
