    IIRC, in the past, the outgoing board members abstained from officer
    votes since they were business of the "new" board.  I was planning
    to abstain on those grounds as well.<br>

                    is not included with the officer structure - it is,
                    however, something that the SFC requires, one
                    official point of contact for our project.  In the
                    past the role has been assigned to officers and
                    non-officers pretty much equally.  But since this is
                    not an officer position in and of itself, I believe
                    we can wait and assign/elect the rep at the
                    Evergreen conference meeting.  Thoughts?</div>
