Morning everyone,

If anyone uses Blackstone Audio as a vendor, just an FYI that they recently
have added the functionality for 9xx fields in their downloaded MARCs. I
asked for discount price and quantity as a baseline requirement, and we got
those. I'm not sure about anything further like branch or fund codes.

They're also working on development to add EDI ordering and invoicing.
They're intending to start with Horizon since apparently that's where their
biggest customer demand is for the moment. I've been speaking with Shirley
Lincicum, who is the director of library services, and she's hopeful
they'll have EDI for other systems like EG by the end of 2019. I just sent
her a sample PO so they can look at the EDI output and work from there.
