Good morning everyone,
So, I'm happy to report that the items of concern that I wrote down
yesterday during the AIG meeting have turned out to be an issue of perms.
This morning on the same testbox I set the Acquisitions Administrator to
have System-level perms instead of Consortium. Then I reran our searches we
did yesterday, and our two concerns: being able to see others' items, and
being able to create providers for others, are non-issues. All works as
expected. I couldn't see the existing BR1 purchase order, and I could only
create a provider up to SYS2.
So really the bug is that we need to adjust the Acquisitions Administrator
in the test dataset to use system-level perms and not consortium-level. I
will open that bug shortly.
I also tested Jennifer's question of whether we still need to include the
ordering agency as one of the terms to see results. Just based on the
couple of searches I did, the answer looks like no. (Yay!) As a BR3
AcqAdmin, I created a PO at ordering agency SYS2. Then I did a PO search
with just the search term of Status [is] pending, and it showed the PO that
I had created. So that's promising!
Other info:
Here is the bug that I mentioned about the Providers search:

And the one about deletion of bibs from underneath open lineitems:

Thanks for a great meeting yesterday!
