Hello

Thanks, the staff member has the barcode scanner to carriage return and needs it to continue to perform that for other work functions.  I’ll review the bugs Andrea shared and submit a new one if it is warranted.

That’s a good point.  But it sounds like there’s something in the interface that is taking that “carriage return” as the trigger to also collapse the search form.

Have the settings on the actual scanner reset somehow? I had to "program" my scanner to automatically do the Enter/Return.

I think even if this was intended by someone (I definitely don’t remember this being intended in our development and testing), I think this should be a LP ticket and something that is “fixed.”

Hello

We have a library who used to use the Enter/Return key when using the Acquisitions search.  What happens now is that when they scan the ISBN of the item, their barcode scanner performs a Enter/Return key and then the search fields collapse rather than hitting Search.  I’m able to replicate it by just hitting the Enter/Return key.  We’re just trying to troubleshoot if this is intended or a bug.    I should note we are on 3.11.2.
