Loved it then but it is driving me crazy now. Server is a bit of a different animal and I have been looking forward to the opportunity to work with it and learn it.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>For whatever reason, mgmt. delayed purchasing hardware for this project for months, but is now in a rush to get this project done. I am struggling thru the installation. I am currently trying to install opensrf and following the instructions from evergreen-ils.org. I am currently attempting to install prerequisites and I cannot run the “.<i>/configure –prefix=/opensrf –sysconfdir=/opensrf/conf” </i> command successfully.<i> </i><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> I ran “<i>chmod +x configure” </i>and tried the “./<i>configure…”</i> again. <i> </i>That got me past the first error<i> </i>but I got a new error “apxs not found”. I ran “<i>aptitude install apache2-prefork-dev apache2-threaded-dev”</i> to get past that error and ran the “<i>./configure…”</i> command once again. I got another error “opensrf requires ncurses development headers”.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> Where can I find “ncurses” downloads (and instructions!!!!)?
