[Evergreen-catalogers] Evergreen Conference 2013: Cataloging/Authorities roadmap informal session times

Hi Everyone,

We've decided to meet at 11:15am on Wednesday, April 10th.  We still do not have a location, though.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yamil Suarez from Berklee College of Music has graciously gotten us a started with a wiki page dedicated to Authorities (http://evergreen-ils.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=authorities).  Thanks, Yamil!

His starter topics include:
-Roadmap ideas
-Development Ideas/wishlist
-Ongoing development and experimentation
-Known authority related bugs
-Older Authorities wiki pages (pre-2013)

This session is also before the Cataloging Working Group.  We plan on summarizing this session there.  Hopefully, we can get some more helpful tips there.

As Alex already mentioned, we will both be there for the whole conference.  If you cannot make this time, feel free to contact one, or both, of us.  We will be more than happy to discuss this with you at another time.

It sounds like there is plenty of interest in getting together during the conference.   The times we were considering for meeting are:


*         11:00 am on Wednesday April 10th (opposite the Web Team/Communications Committee Meeting)

*         12 pm on Wednesday April 10th - discussion during the Cataloging Working Group

*         3 pm on Thursday, April 11 (opposite Contributing Code)


What time works best to meet?  Anyone have suggestions on a location? Also Carrie and I can be available for all three times (we'll also be at the Cataloging Working Group meeting on Wednesday) so if you can't make one we can still meet and discuss.

Also, Yamil, I agree that the wiki page is a great idea.  We should definitely discuss it together.
