Received confirmation of it happening the Item Attribute Editor alone.
 To me, this sounds launchpad-worthy, even if it is difficult to
reproduce.  Others not on this list may see it and weigh in, if not
figure it out.  Since I wrote that part of the code, I wish I had
known about it earlier.  Folks really shouldn't be living with and
working around bugs.
