I checked MODS again, since that was one of the problems with the 700 |t as
a title search in Evergreen. They now are including it as: 700, 710, 711
$a$t add nameTitleGroup (see
http://www.loc.gov/standards/mods/mods2marc-mapping.html). I don’t remember
seeing that before – it was a relatedItem element. For those keeping track
of MODS changes, is that new?
>From a discussion on this list in 2012, I thought 700|t as a part of the
default index. I have not tested this recently in the PINES catalog
(ver2.7.2) and could find an example quickly this morning.

Subject: [Evergreen-catalogers] 700 field link question
If you search for an author in our catalog currently, you will not get any
results in which that author's name might be in a 700 field accompanied by a
subfield "t". Also, if you encounter that author's name in a 700 field with
a subfield "t," clicking on the name only brings up records where the name
is in the 100 field or in the 700 field without the subfield "t".
I am not sure if this is a bug in Evergreen, a problem with the setup of our
system or something that might be solved by an authority record project we
will soon complete.
Thanks,
Chris
