[Evergreen-catalogers] KPAC and authorities

Good Afternoon!

NC Cardinal is establishing authority control in our catalog and have a few questions about how the subject headings work with the KPAC.


We need to know which subject headings and name headings will appear in the KPAC.  Is it all of them?  Only the subject headings  coded as juvenile?  If so, is the trigger the second indicator being a "1?"

Do Sears subject headings appear in the KPAC? Do Sears headings only appear when the second indicator is 8?  Or when they have a $2 of "sears?"  Or either coding?

Do all name headings be they author or subjects appear in the KPAC?  Or will the subject name headings only appear if the second indicator is a "1?"
