Hi Ariez,

This is part of the Evergreen community's documentation on how to
setup z39.50 source servers in Evergreen:
http://docs.evergreen-ils.org/3.0/_z39_50_servers.html and
http://docs.evergreen-ils.org/3.0/_storing_z39_50_server_credentials.html

The basic idea is that you have to get your national library's
hostname, port, and other connection details and input them to create
an initial z39.50 source. Then you have to define the specific search
attributes they allow you to share. These vary depending on how that
library system is setup to respond to z39.50 queries. So for example,
in the "oclc" source, there's attributes for "title", "isbn", etc. and
there's different code, format, truncation values associated with
those field searches. Depending on how your source is configured,
these values may differ slightly from the expected methods.

I can't find any specific information on how the National Library of
Malaysia is configured online so far in my search, but perhaps there's
a technical contact you can write to at that library for further
assistance to get the necessary attribute settings.

Alternatively, perhaps someone with more experience with Virtua
Chameleon ILS will know the more common z39.50 attributes and can
offer further suggestions.
