Hi All,

Before getting into my transfer question I'd like to know if the "add
volumes" button will from now on by labeled "add copies". The copy/item
inconsistency is frustrating, and may come into play with the transfer
options as shown below.

Today Jason put the patch for the omnibus cataloging bug fix on a test
server so I could test it with my own data. Empty libraries are now
visible. I'm able to add a volume/item to an empty library. I can add a
volume (no item) to an empty library. I am testing transferring items now
and am curious about what happened to the choices that were there before
the bug fix was added. Is this just my installation or is it part of the
fix?

In item status the choices are the same both before and after the fix was
added and there are only two.


In holdings view the choices are different from item status. Can someone
explain why one choice is to transfer copies and one to transfer items?  Does
it have to do with copies meaning volume/item and item only the barcoded
item?
In the 3.0.9 client I have this, lots of choices.

On my test server with the bug fix I have this, only two choices.


The mark for transfer choices are also different with the bug fix.
In our 3.0.9 version


With the bug fix the two choices are combined. Why? There could be a time
when a library wants to transfer an item to their library on a different
record where there is already a volume that's different.
