*September Meeting Notes*
The Cataloging Work Group extends our thanks again to all those who
participated in this month's discussion as we reviewed your responses to
the recent CWG community survey!   This month we were pleased to announce
new additions to the CWG Organizing Committee!  Thanks again to Bill
Erickson, Mary Llewellyn, Jessica Philyaw, and Janet Schrader for taking on
this responsibility.

*Continuing Discussions*

   - *Survey*:  If you have not yet responded to the Cataloging Working
   Group Survey

   you still have time!  The survey will be available until the end of the
   month.
   - *Bug Squashing Week*: Begins on Monday!  Look for more information
   from Terran on the Evergreen General Listserv.  Cataloger input is needed.
   - *RDA Fields/Icons*:  We will continue our discussion of RDA fields and
   icon definitions in email.  I will start a new email thread on this topic
   next week.
   - *Competition*:  Start collecting examples of bad bib records for next
   year's Bad Record Competition!


The next CWG meeting will be on Tues, October 13, 2020 at 2pm Eastern.
