Anything could be added at a future date :)

A good first step is to mark the bug as affects you in Launchpad (if  
you haven't already) and add a comment to the bug that it still  
affects whatever version you're currently running. This will help  
increase the bug's heat and show that this is something that there's  
still interest in. (If you don't already have a Launchpad account you  
can sign up for one.)

You can also bring things like this to the open forum section of the  
Cataloguing Working Group meetings.  This is a great way to raise  
awareness of a bug and find out if it's something others in the  
community are interested in/dealing with/have a workaround for.
