If you were at the last CatIG meeting, you may recall my cryptic and melodramatic mentions of diving deep into authorities infrastuctures and having made a number of discoveries ("I'VE. BEEN. BUSY"). I have created a number of new bug reports based on those discoveries, and found existing bugs upon which I gave heat, and having shared those bugs with the AWG, I'm now sharing them with the wider EG cataloguing community. Please add heat to these -- while it's true that some of these bugs are very old, the bug reports I've personally filed more recently are instances where I've seen the same issues in the main branch as I'm seeing in my version of EG, so those bugs in particular are likely affecting you as well.
