[Evergreen-catalogers] Catalogers gather for Bug Squashing Week on Wed

Cataloging Interest Group -
During our IG meeting this month, we talked about getting together during
Bug Squashing Week with a goal of both just setting aside working time and
to offer time for catalogers new to Bug Squashing Week to join us and ask
questions.  Also, we want to mark the *Ten-Year Anniversary of Bug
Squashing Week Events* and celebrate by participating!

Hey all!

I hope all of you are able to take a little bit of time to participate in
this community effort to make improvements to Evergreen.

*Getting Started:*

1) The list of test servers with bug fixes and features that are ready to
test is located here (on the General Info/Test Servers tab):

2) The "Statistics During BSW" tab will be where I track all of the
activity that takes during the week including testing feedback, signoffs,
new bug reports and new patches submitted.

3) All test servers have a set of dummy data (Concerto
<https://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=qa:concerto_logins>) installed
on them, and you are free to change records and settings while you are
testing. Be sure to test with different types of user accounts with
different permissions levels!

*Ways for New Participants to Contribute:*

   - Test new bug fixes and features

   - Go through the list of bugs with the "New" status

   to see if you can confirm them - if you can, change the status to
   "Confirmed". If the bug is older and seems to have been fixed already, or
   if you have other comments, add that information as a comment.
