That way, if your library is also affected by the bug you can add to the discussion and follow the bug, raising it’s “bug heat” and hopefully interest in addressing it.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>In light of that, I would like to share a bug -- <a href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1065091">https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1065091</a><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Until a recent release, the deposit status was a factor in holds policies. This enabled PINES libraries to have a hold policy restricting holds to only patrons from the owning library’s system for items with deposit status set to yes. We originally established the deposit flag status within the holds policies so that the circulation rules for the item could be set by the circulation modifier based on the format of the item. Thus a book with a deposit would circulate as a book and a DVD would circulate as a DVD; but, both would have hold policies for the deposit flag. This gives us more flexibility without adding more complexity to the circulation modifiers.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>If your library would like to see the deposit flag back in the holds policies, please indicate the bug affects you and follow it!<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Thanks,<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><div><div><div><div><div><p class=MsoNormal><i><span style='font-size:18.0pt;font-family:"Garamond","serif"'>Elaine</span></i><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'><o:p></o:p></span></p><div class=MsoNormal align=center style='text-align:center'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'><hr size=3 width="100%" align=center></span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'><br>J.
