<div dir="ltr"><div>Hi again everyone. <br><br></div>Thanks to Kathy for pointing me to Grace Dunbar's presentation <a href="http://slides.com/graced/deck-7">Where have all the Toolbars Gone?</a><br clear="all"><div><div>I loaded the "Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar" Add-on which she highlights, and it wraps the bookmarks onto a second line. I can now create nicely displayed, one click, bookmarks for Z36.50 Searching, Load MARC Order Records, and other functions that have a distinct URL. <br><br></div><div>However, I was disappointed to find that it isn't possible to create a bookmark for Browse Search and Keyword Search. Function key F3 still defaults to Advanced Search, but it shares the same URL as Browse & Keyword. As a cataloger, I use the Browse Search at least as often as the Advance Search. <br><br></div><div>What would y'all think of including the following line entries in the Search dropdown menu?<br><br></div><div>Search for Patrons<br></div><div>Search for copies by Barcode<br></div><div>Advanced Search<br></div><div></div><div>Browse Search<br>Keyword Search</div><div></div><div>MARC Expert Search<br>Numeric search</div><div> <br></div><div>To create keyboard shortcuts not currently included in Webby, I am contemplating using the native Firefox Toolbar keyword feature. For example, by assigning a keyword of "z" to the bookmark "Z39.50 Search", it is possible to launch the Z39.50 page with 4 keystrokes "Ctrl, L, Z, Enter". Better still if I can use a macro program to launch it with 1 or 2 keystrokes. Does anybody have a better solution? Any recommendations on macro programs that play nice with Evergreen? Are there plans to include more keyboard shortcuts that just haven't been put into place yet?<br><br></div><div>Inquiring minds want to know, <br><br><br></div><div>Don <br></div><div><br><br><br>-- <br><div class="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div>Don Butterworth<br>Collection Management Librarian /<br>Faculty Associate<br>B.L.
