<div dir="ltr">In Evergreen Indiana, we use the 347 b to trigger specific format icons for things like this, so if we put a 347 b of Vox audiobook, then the record will display an icon for Vox. I don't know if anyone is using Wonderbooks yet, but we could add another icon for that if need be. Some show as CD audiobook, some as an e-book, and some are cataloged like Playaways which have the format 'digital media player' in our ILS. </p><p style="margin:6px 0px;font-family:Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;color:rgb(29,33,41);font-size:14px">At the request of one library in our network I've been changing the format to 'digital media player' for ones they own, Vox<span class="gmail-m_3214460592733057252gmail-m_6194492503417236213gmail-m_580881908602998929gmail-text_exposed_show" style="display:inline;font-family:inherit"> books or Wonder books that other libraries own have a variety of formats. How should these be cataloged in MARC. What goes into the 006, 007, and 008 fields? I am trying to avoid e-book as these are not online resources bu Evergreen seems to pick up the code for electronic resource in the 006 field and combine it with record type for print.</p><p style="margin:0px 0px 6px;font-family:inherit">Do any in this group catalog these? I would like some consistency (I know, hobgoblins at all that) and right now it's pointing to audio even though the book appears to be the primary format. The 300 field also varies.
