<div dir="ltr"><div>matters for us when loading cataloged items to replace acq items. One of our libraries' vendors sends back the lineitem detail ID number (which was sent in an EDI order) and we used that ID to link to the item attached to the purchase order so the incoming cataloging information will overlay the existing item. Those loads are set as acquisitions loads.<br></div><div><br></div><div>As a contrast, another vendor does cataloging based on seeing items in our catalog through Z39.50, and they include the copy ID in the cataloging they send to us, and we match on that number. Those loads are set as bibliographic record loads. <br></div><div><br></div><div>The difference allows us to use the same Holdings Import Profile. <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">For context, we just upgraded to 3.3.4 and started cataloging in the web staff client instead of XUL. One of our member libraries previously used Record Type Acquisitions Records
with no problem, but I cannot get a file to upload unless I select Bibliographic Records as the record type. Also, we have a default match set for bibliographic records that would apply as the Vandelay default, based on the Default Record Match Set and Upload
Default Match Set library settings. But, when the Record Type is Acquisitions Records, there are no match set options available (nothing in dropdown list). I have to change the Record Type to Bibliographic Records to be able to select the correct match set
(only 1 option in the dropdown list).<u></u><u></u></span></p>
