<p class="MsoNormal">We have DVD and Large Print blocks that do not circulate past our patrons but we’re unsure of how to mark this in evergreen. At the moment we’re putting 100 year age hold protection on each item.

<p class="MsoNormal">What I’m worried about is that as the blocks cycle we used to edit the same records/items to reflect the new item using the same barcode. I’m afraid someone will accidentally attach a material to the partial record we use for the blocks.

<p class="MsoNormal">Is there something similar to age hold protection for records? Should we be manually adding them to matching records for the title and using an item bucket to mass edit and delete when it’s time to change them?<o:p></o:p></p>
