This is something mentioned by the cataloging staff here as a nice-to-have, described as a step-by-step process:<br>
<br>
1) Search the catalog for items by author, title, series, etc.<br>
2) Have a checkbox next to each result that can be selected.<br>
3) Click a button to create an item/record bucket containing those items.<br>
<br>
Example: All Dav Pilkey "Captain Underpants" novels are being changed to being shelved as juvenile rather than easy; cataloger searches "Pilkey", selects the Captain Underpants titles, and creates a bucket to work with directly from the catalog.<br>

I have no idea if this is even feasible, but wanted to put it out there.<br>
