I've noticed that many of the printers recommended are no longer in production.<br></p><p>From my experience, if you're looking for labels that last, ink or resin is the way to go. They tend to be more expensive than thermal prints, but their durability is significantly better. Additionally, I've been testing UV label protectors, which might help address the fading issue you're experiencing with the DYMO printer labels.</p><p>For emergencies, I keep a Nelko Thermal printer on hand, which is much less expensive. </p><p>I hope this information is helpful.</p><div><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right:0in;margin-left:0in;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;color:rgb(31,73,125)">Kean Emmell Leister<u></u><u></u></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right:0in;margin-left:0in"><font color="#1f497d" face="Calibri, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.6667px">Volunteer</span></font><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:11pt;color:rgb(31,73,125)"> </span><font color="#1f497d" face="Calibri, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.6667px">Coordinator,</span></font></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right:0in;margin-left:0in"><font color="#1f497d" face="Calibri, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.6667px">Technical Services Library Assistant,</span></font></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right:0in;margin-left:0in;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;color:rgb(31,73,125)">Indian Valley Public Library<u></u><u></u></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right:0in;margin-left:0in;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;color:rgb(31,73,125)">100 E Church Ave<u></u><u></u></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right:0in;margin-left:0in;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;color:rgb(31,73,125)">Telford, PA 18969</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right:0in;margin-left:0in;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;color:rgb(31,73,125)"><span>Pronouns</span>: he, they</span></p></div></div></div><br></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Mon, Jul 15, 2024 at 10:32 AM bsanders--- via Evergreen-catalogers <<a href="mailto:evergreen-catalogers@list.evergreen-ils.org">evergreen-catalogers@list.evergreen-ils.org</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><font face="arial" size="3"><p style="margin:0px;padding:0px;font-family:arial;font-size:12pt">Ok, I am in the process of looking for a spine label printer. We, right now, use avery labels in our laser printer. This is causing smearing and such on other printed items. I have been asked to not print on partial sheets to keep this from happening.
