<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr">Hi,<br></div><div><br></div><div>I could imagine (ab)using the curbside pickup feature to do this, along the lines of:</div><div><br></div><div>- enable the feature for that library</div><div>- turn off letting the patron make changes to curbside appointments (if the library is driving when the items get put in a locker)<br></div><div>- when items become available, create an appointment, and (maybe) put the locker number in the appointment note field<br></div><div>- this will allow the appointment to show up in the My Account page</div><div>- also, an A/T event on the hold.confirm_curbside hook could be used to notify the patron, including locker number</div><div>- possibly tweak the OPAC templates for that library so that the My Account page replaces "curbside" wording with "locker" wording<br></div><div><br></div><div>Now, if you mark the items delivered right away when placing the items in the locker, that would hide the appointment from My Account. However, maybe that's OK; the A/T notification could suffice. Hello,</div>

I have a library that is interested in setting up lockers outside their library for patrons to pick up items. They were wondering if there was a workflow in Evergreen to support this practice.</div>

Some thoughts were to set up an another org_unit as a pick up location but it would result in staff having to switch locations to capture holds etc.</div>

They need someway for the staff to be able to see what should be routed to the lockers and then they are thinking they will check out the items before putting them into a locker.</div>
