[Evergreen-dev] Migrating Away From Evergreen

Hi Brian,

We are sorry to see you go!

Some additional things to consider include:

   - Turning off the ability of your Evergreen system to send email at all;
   some of the emails it can generate don't go through Action Trigger
   - Preventing any scheduled reports from running after the transition;
   you can do this by deleting all rows from the reporter.schedule table whose
   run_time is in the future
   - Updating circulation and hold policies on the Evergreen side to
   prevent new hold requests, loans, and renewals
   - If you've used Evergreen's SIP or Z39.50 servers, making sure they are
   turned off
   - Once you're past the point where you want to offer the Evergreen OPAC
   at all, setting up a redirect in Apache to the new catalog

Regards,

Galen
