[Evergreen-general] Tech Expo Call for Proposals

*The St. Louis Regional Library Network Council seeks proposals for the
2021 SLRLN Tech Expo, to be held virtually, Wednesday March 3, 2021.
Proposals may cover information technology projects, programs, tools,
strategies, or recent discoveries. Proposals could relate to, but are not
restricted to, any of the following topics: - Artificial intelligence-
Censorship and filtering- Consortial resource and system sharing-
Cybersecurity and privacy- Digital humanities- Digitizing collections /
archives- Digital preservation- Emerging technologies- Google Tools-
Institutional or digital repositories- Intersections of technology and
Information literacy- Learning management systems- LibGuides / LibAnswers-
Library information technology competencies- Makerspaces- Metadata- Mobile
technologies- Online instruction- Online meeting platforms- Open content,
software, and technologies- Practical applications of linked data- Search
engine optimization- Social media- User experience- Virtual programming-
Virtual realityPresentations are generally 40 minutes in length with an
additional 10 minutes for Q&A, but we will consider longer presentations.
Presenters will be asked to submit their final presentation slides and/or
electronic content (video, audio, etc.) to be made available on the SLRLN
website following the event. The conference will take place over Zoom and
all sessions will be recorded. Each Zoom room will have a production
manager who will monitor chat, assist with breakout rooms and polling, and
keep time. Submit your proposal idea for the 2021 Tech Expo.
