whole pile of lines of stuff inbetween

/home/opensrf# ls -a
.  ..  .bash_logout  .bashrc  .profile

 the .bashrc file contains 114 lines of text

Not seeing anything that was done incorrectly.
Also not sure why things aren't working.

Please advise
