If I remember correctly, it does not default to that.  I think this, however, something that would be pretty easy for your support vendor to configure or there might even be a setting already created.

We have one library that is currently using Aspen. I did a search for Harry Potter because I know of a specific record that has parts on it.  I’ve attached some screenshots.  You can see how it shows on the record page and then what the parts look like when going to place a hold.

If you are using the Apen discovery system with Evergreen and your library uses the Part field in Evergreen, can you please tell me how the Part field is displaying in Aspen and if Part level holds work?
