There is, in 3.9, a new field for a patron photo URL. It does require a separate repository.

We're working through suggestions from our annual staff survey. One was to be able to capture/store patron photos in Evergreen. I looked on LaunchPad and didn't see this as a wishlist request so I assume this has been considered but decided against because of patron privacy concerns? (I'm aware that you can link to external photos.)
I thought I'd check if this was something that was a design decision.
