But this is different from using an already existing PostgreSQL, which is
already used by some other apps as well.
Anyway, maybe nobody else wants to do this besides me, and maybe it doesn't
make much sense.

For the time being I am having a look at Koha, but I will give Evergreen
another try even if I succeed with Koha.

I carefully followed all the steps on the installation page, but it didn't
work. Maybe it is only something very small that needs to be fixed, but I
cannot figure it out because I am not familiar with all this stuff. If
someone could spend 15-20 minutes debugging it, just to check for anything
unusual, this might be a great help.
I am willing to have a short online meeting, whenever it is suitable for
you.
