Thanks for starting this thread, Kate!

I'm in one of the lucky areas in the mountains of North Carolina -- just
outside of the area of Western North Carolina that literally had all roads
closed and so much devastation.  The neighboring counties are rallying to
provide emergency relief. Emergency crews (and cell towers to restart
communications) are beginning to arrive from out of state. Thanks to
everyone for kind words of support.

I would like to add my note of support to all of the communities across all
states that were affected.
