This is a difficult question to answer. I've always assumed that the issue was a PICNIC issue (problem in chair, not in computer) and gotten on the staff for not keeping their eyes on the screen while checking items in. But the issue actually got worse after
we migrated to Evergreen, so I asked staff to go slower in addition to keeping their eyes on the screen. I also asked them to watch for item details to show up on the list. The lack of details seemed to be an indicator that the item did not get checked in;
but not all the time. Then a staff member showed me an example of an item that captured the details but did not get checked in. It is a very difficult issue to capture in real-time for documentation of an issue.</div>

We have had some issues with items getting to the shelves and not getting checked in. We are a small library and have two pages; noRFID or automatic sorters.</p>
