This is exactly how we use Evergreen for credit card payments, and we do require entry of the authorization code for reconciliation purposes. Since there’s no authentication of the code, seems like any system not using the authorization could decide on a generic
 code for all these transactions</div>

<p class="x_MsoNormal">We have a newly migrated system, who is interested in accepting credit card payments outside of Evergreen. However, for reporting purposes, they would like to keep a record in Evergreen of any payments made using the Credit Card Payment
 Type. Currently, we have the Library Setting “Allow Credit Card Payment” set to “False”. All other library settings related to credit card payments are currently “Null”. However, library staff have noticed that when selecting the Payment Type “Credit Card”,
 they receive the following pop up requiring an Approval Code.</p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal">Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the Approval Code Field as being a required field? Should staff just apply “N/A” to bypass the field? Any suggestions or guidance is greatly appreciated.</p>
