Most of the infrastructure is in place, but to take it all the way, it would be necessary to teach Evergreen:</div><div><br></div><div>- how to set up the attributes specifically used for authority record search</div><div>- how to save the authority record while avoiding duplicates<br></div><div>- to distinguish between Z39.50 profiles for bibs vs authorities<br></div><div><br></div><div>There didn't seem to be a bug about this in Launchpad, so I've opened a new one: <a href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/2054453">https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/2054453</a></div><div><br></div><div>In the meantime, MarcEdit's Z39.50 client is capable of searching NAF and SAF from LC's Z39.50 server. You can do it directly by setting it up as a Z39.50 search database, although MarcEdit isn't great at display the search results (it seems to assume that the client is used only for searching bib records).
