Hi all,
For some reason, I thought this was originally posted to the outreach
list, which is why I didn't forward it along any sooner. This was a
piece of feedback we received from an EOB member. The final one is
already included in Meme's list. Is there any interest in including one
or both of the others.
Meme, other than forwarding this along, I'm good with the logos you've
included. Do you have individual images of each of those shortlist logos
to use in the survey?
Thanks for your work on this!
Kathy

There are several that I like the ideas of, but I'd still like to tweak
them a bit if any were chosen:
Row 1, Column 1 - Lettering would need to be spaced better, perhaps a
smaller font
Row 5, Column 4 - I like this one's overall design, but would break the
curved line around the needles so that it's not overlapping (like how
it's already broken around the letting)
Row 8, Column 1 - I would make the narrow lines a little heavier and the
text a little stronger
Feel free to do with what you will!

Hi all,
As I'm sure you all recall, the Outreach Committee approached the
EOB last summer about the possibility of working with the logo
designer from the 2017 conference to work on the Evergreen logo.
When the idea was first raised among the Outreach Committee members,
we were agreeable to looking at refreshing the design. We still
wanted it to be recognizable, but modernized.
The EOB voted in October to approve spending up to $300 to refresh
the logo.
The designer sent along first drafts back in December. The Outreach
Committee discussed the logos during our January conference call.
Although there were certain logos we liked better than others, the
general consensus from the committee was that there were none that
they thought was a big enough improvement over the current logo to
justify moving forward with them.
The draft logos are attached for your review. If we were to proceed
with any, I think it would ultimately be a community decision that
would probably warrant a survey. However, the Outreach Committee is
recommending against moving forward with any of these logos at this
time.
Feel free to let me know if you have any questions or different
thoughts on the logos.
Thanks!
Kathy
