This is great.  My only suggestion would be to change this sentence “Evergreen 3.8 continues to deliver the most interoperability for libraries …” to “Evergreen 3.8 delivers the most interoperability for libraries…”  The sentence preceding it includes “continues to.”

USABILITY IMPROVEMENTS IN NEW EVERGREEN RELEASE

Usability and interface improvements highlight Evergreen’s new Release 3.8, the latest semi-annual software update.



Patron notes, messages and alerts are now in an improved consolidated interface for better service.  Acquisitions also enjoys interface improvements via a more modern interface and other usability improvements including a new fund administration interface.



Even more options are available to customize system handling of hold requests based on the pickup library.  Use of item cover images is expanded in the system to the borrower’s account displays for quicker identification of requests and loans.



Forty-seven individuals contributed code, translations, documentations, patches, and tests to this release of Evergreen.


Evergreen continues to be the leading ILS for consortia and delivers local flexibility and granularity of policies that no other software can match.
