Just a couple suggestions:

  1.  replace “specialized” with “special.”
  2.  For the second sentence – ‘The conference theme, “Community at the Heart of Evergreen,” reflects both the location of the conference in the heart of New England and the many individuals and organizations working together to design and produce the Evergreen software for the library community.’
