Hi Jason

Thanks so much. We’re loving the simple reports. It’s been interesting to learn the limits and when we should recommend using the complex reporter.

Hi Elizabeth, because of the layout of the various tables related to billing (complex) and the design goals of simple reporter (simple) there wasn't a good way to pull some things without potentially duplicating rows. I don't have the precise details handy anymore but since you can potentially make partial payments at multiple locations on the same transaction some fields were intentionally left out to prevent potentially misleading data (situations like billing amounts * # of payments and payment amounts * number of billings, etc.)
Simple reporter tries to gather all payment and billing data for a single transaction into a single row to minimize confusion around dollar amounts. It may be possible to add a field that aggregates all payment locations similar to the bib subjects field in other reports, but if the goal is something like "how much was paid at library X vs library Y?" that's not something simple reporter is capable of. (Nor, really, is the complicated reporter; depending on your requirements.)

Jason

Hello

I’m trying to build a Simple Report using the Billings and Payments Transaction Summary. Is there no Payment Location field? I’m seeing the Billing Library as field, but nothing for payment.
