Thanks Tony. I was able to find a deleted items report template that can list deleted barcodes.

I know you can do a report for deleted items and that it can list the barcodes.

Hello –

Is there a report template available to search for item bar codes which are deleted in order to re-activate them in order to check-in the bar code to fix a hung record?

Or can deleted bar codes on items be found and can they be reactivated in the first place? Does anyone have a report template or know how to start one to find and fix “endless looping” bar codes still attached to patron records (with associated fines/fees)?

I am looking for record_id, deleted bar code of the item to be checked in, and patron primary identification, simple patron record information.

We’d like to clean up about 550 hanging records and check-in these bar codes to clean up patron records (who are mostly expired accounts), waive fees, etc. and the finally delete the problem bar codes and/or the empty bib records as well.

Thanks for your help/advice,
Chris
