[Evergreen-web-team] General intro and BEYOND!

Hi all,

Most of our planning efforts involved discussions of *what* content should be available, created, etc., but
not *how* it would be structured.

There are several techniques that can be used for a group to determine a logical information architecture,
like card sorting, user testing, reviewing analytics info, etc. If the web team likes, I can work that into our
future agenda, but first, I'd really like to hear what other people in the community think about how the
content should be structured.

As for specifics, I think there is obviously going to be a lot of overlap between a *general* "What is EG and
why should I care?" FAQ (as opposed to any technical FAQs in the dev or sysadmin realms) and a 101-level
introduction to the project and community. That's not necessarily a bad thing: it might be logical to have
EG 101 be a very simple low-level narrative that then directs interested visitors toward more detailed
information presented in FAQ format.

Since that information is going to be the first thing that many, if not most, potential users access, I think
it's pretty high-value and should be high on the priority list of any future Web Team's "keep it updated!" list.

One other somewhat related topic: we had discussed having numerous landing or "what is EG" pages
tailored to specific visitor roles. So after a generic "EG 101" page, we might give visitors paths to "EG in
Academic Libraries" or "EG in LIS Curricula" or "EG in K-12" pages that have content curated for those
visitors.

Thanks!
Jim
