something else to look at might be the combination of the following three modules within a drupal instance:

http://drupal.org/project/mailman_manager
http://drupal.org/project/mailhandler
http://drupal.org/project/listhandler

Chris,

Could you look into this. The idea would be to use FUDForum to capture the mailing list messages into the forum format and allow users to operate in either world. Sounds interesting.

Hi Lori,

I will not be able to participate on the 10th because of the Mass. Library
Association conference. However, if it works for everyone else, I think you
all should go ahead and meet. With C/W MARS and NOBLE going live over
Memorial Day weekend, I think I'm going to have trouble making it to call
this month, but I will try to give my feedback via e-mail.

I do have one item for discussion, either at the meeting or just through the
list.

During the conference's community discussion, somebody had asked about using
discussion forums for communication. Dan Scott had suggested using something
like FudForum (http://cvs.prohost.org/index.php/Main_Page), which could be
integrated with the current mailings lists, meaning we wouldn't be creating
yet another communications channel, but would be giving an alternate
interface to our current communication channels. Since nobody volunteered at
the meeting to explore it further, I said I would forward the idea along to
the web team. Is there anyone (preferably someone with systems skills) who
would be interested in looking into this?

Thanks!
Kathy
