[Evergreen-web-team] Content Census

After working with the website files for a little while, I tend to agree that it would be overkill to do what I initially suggested. That said, I am waiting for Ben to vett and promote a change to the downloads.php file on the existing website so that I can demonstrate another idea. I have set up the file so that if you call it with a GET parm of "n=t" the content will be delivered without the branding, i.e. the header and sidebars. By doing this, we can go to the new site and link content directly from the existing site until we have time to cut it all over. this will allow the Drupal Dev site to reflect changes that happen on the production site in real time.

Again, the goal is to have the Drupal site fleshed out and ready for EG2013 in April.

Steve

Hello, team.Based on what I recall about the amount of content that is within the scope of our migration to the new site, my initial thought is that this approach may be overkill. However, any progress is good progress and since I myself am not doing much with the content at the moment (and will not until our migration to 2.3 is complete in a week or so) I say thanks for the suggestion and please go for it.
