Hello, everybody. My name is Alex (Alexey) Lazar. I recently started at PALS, located at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN, USA. I will be involved with our Evergreen initiatives. Previously, I worked as a website developer responsible for various aspects of design, code and information architecture of <a href="http://www.mnsu.edu" target="_blank">www.mnsu.edu</a>.<br>

In my experience, there are always several ways to present information, based on intended audience, topic or other schemes. For example, developing code for Evergreen is certainly a contribution, and developers are members of the community and they communicate.<br>
<br>
I signed up for this mailing list just in the last couple of days. It was easy to find the information I needed under "Communicate". It would have been just as easy to find it under "Community", which is a more broad term. Same would probably be true if I was looking for user group information.<br>
<br>
For what my input is worth at this point, changing the term sounds like a good idea, if not for any reason other than it's a familiar, standard term commonly used on open-source project websites.<br>
