There are multiple ways to install Debian.  Have you tried the latest 
snapshots of the soon to be released version of Debian?  There are multiple 
ways to install Debian including floppy disks, flash, etc.  The debian 
documentation includes this information.   You can always borrow a usb cdrom 
and install debian from there, if you are looking for a path of least 
resistance.
