[OPEN-ILS-DEV] Installing a Evergreen System

Hello Ryan,

I haven't been very active on this list in recent months, but I am currently preparing an update to my Ubuntu VMWare image using Ubuntu 7.10 and Evergreen 1.2.1 (just in time for 8.04, I know :) .

Anyway, I still try to keep up to date install instructions at http://www.open-ils.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=installing_evergreen_1.2_on_ubuntu_7.10 .  Similar to what others have offered, I would be more than happy to address any Ubuntu specific problems you encounter.

Alternately, I suppose you could wait a few more days for the updated VMWare image and go from there.

I'm thinking the Ubuntu is best for me because it's made for a novice user
