Robert, using the IP address should be fine.
Could you paste us the directory listing (ls -l) for your
/openils/var/web/xul/ directory on your server?
What you want to do is find the latest real directory in there that
was built when you did "make install" for Evergreen. This will likely
look like a timestamp, something like 20080225.012859.
Then you'll want to create a symlink to that directory from the build
id for your staff client. The latest packaged client for Windows on
open-ils.org has a build id (or Target Server ID, in the About page)
of rel_1_2_1_4, so you would do something like: ln -s 20080225.012859
rel_1_2_1_4
There's nothing easy you can change on the client side to affect the
build id; you have to adjust from the server side to make it support
your staff client.
